Freemover program course

Tuition fee €130 per credit

€130 per credit for undergraduate/bachelor courses
€140 per credit for graduate/master courses

All students must take at least 18 credits.

Minimum tuition fee is €2340 if all registered courses are bachelor level courses, and the student is registered only on 18 credits worth of courses (18 x €130).
It can be higher if a student has more than 18 credits, and/or if these courses are master level.

Freemover website

A Freemover is a self-financed student who wishes to study abroad, independent of any exchange program.

The program is 1 semester long, and students can choose from a variety of courses in different fields:

- Operations Management

All courses that Freemover students have access to are available to students in other full-time and part-time programs.

Course requirements:

Students are required to register for at least 18 ECTS worth of courses per semester.

Freemover students are responsible for following the regulations of their own home universities with regards to study abroad and credit acceptance. Before committing to a semester at Corvinus, Freemovers should first confirm with their home universities that their credits earned at Corvinus will be accepted at their home universities.

Entry requirements:

- Active student status at home university
- At least B2 level of English proficiency

Entrance exam: No

Scholarships or tuition waivers:

Corvinus University does not offer scholarships or tuition waiver for Freemover applicants.
It’s a student’s own responsibility to seek scholarship opportunities.

Payment information:

Those applicants who receive a Conditional Acceptance decision must make 2 credits’ worth preliminary payment as application fee via our education system (Neptun) before course registration. Payment details will be provided in email. This amount will be deducted from the full tuition fee.
If one fails to pay this non-refundable 2-credit payment until the deadline, their application will be rejected.

The rest of the base tuition fee will be charged before the semester starts, based on the number of credits the student registered for during the first course registration period. If, during the final course registration period (2nd week of teaching) the student registers on additional courses, the university will charge the student for the additional credits.
If, after the final course registration, the student has fewer credits than what they were charged for before the semester start, the difference will not be reimbursed. The only exception is if a course is canceled by the university. In that case, the student will be compensated.

Paying the tuition fee in monthly installments is not possible.

The credit-based tuition fee covers only the courses at Corvinus University, all additional costs (e.g. housing, travel) must be arranged and paid by the student.
