Recognition (undergraduate degree) requirements
Your qualification must be legally recognised to be equivalent to a Hungarian undergraduate degree (Act C, Recognition, 2001) and meet the pre-requisite credit requirements (see below).

GMAT, GRE, NMAT
For admission onto MA/MSc programmes, you must provide a GMAT, GRE or NMAT certificate. Note: you are only required to sit one of these exams.

All MA/MSc applicants must have one of the following within the minimum scores stated:

NMAT (165)
GMAT (500)
GMAT FE (485)
GRE (300).

Exemptions
You are exempt from this requirement if you have already graduated from an AACSB, AMBA-accredited or CEMS-member university and have an average grade equivalent to “B”.

Self-funded applicants must provide the above by 30 April. Applicants who provide their scores earlier can be admitted early!

You will receive a percentage score based on your NMAT, GMAT, GRE score or average grade from your accredited university. If you have an admission score between 65 and 74 based on your test score (the conversion table is available in our Admission Regulations) you will be invited to do an interview that you must pass to gain acceptance.

A points threshold will then be set by our MA/MSc Dean. Those scoring greater than or equal to the points threshold will be conditionally accepted. Those scoring below the points threshold will be rejected.

If you do not achieve the minimum score requirements, your application will be rejected.

1-year degrees or validation
To be eligible for a 1-year Master programme, you must meet minimum credit requirements obtained purely from previous academic studies. Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for this programme before applying.

If you do not meet the requirements described above, consider MSc Marketing (2-years).

With the 2-year programme, you can apply for validation (credit exemption) if you have below the minimum credit requirements stated below and/or work experience and/or informal academic experience (e.g. completing a relevant online training course).

Minimum credit requirements
In Hungary, there are legal pre-requisite credit requirements to study postgraduate programmes.

Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for this programme before applying.

You will need a minimum of 36 ECTS constituted from the following areas: 
- Economics, Social Sciences and Methodology (e.g. mathematics, statistics, micro and macroeconomy, international economy, regional economy, economic history)
- Business (e.g. corporate finances, accounting, management, human resources)
- Marketing Foundation (e.g. Market Research, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Marketing)

Tip: to quickly calculate your credits in ECTS, divide learning hours by 30!

‎If your qualifications are not in English or Hungarian, official translations into English or Hungarian will be required for all diplomas and transcripts.

You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
