Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Please read this whole section carefully before applying Recognition (undergraduate degree) requirements Your qualification must be legally recognised to be equivalent to a Hungarian undergraduate degree (Act C, Recognition, 2001) and meet the pre-requisite credit requirements (see below). Entrance exam The maximum number of points you can get in the admission process is 100. The written exam is 60 points, the oral exam is 30 points. You can get an additional 10 points if you submit a GMAT/GRE/NMAT or GMAT FE exam by 31 January 2025. The written exam measures the following: quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, logical thinking and data interpretation, and language skills. A sample exam will soon be available. You can also get in without a written exam. If you have either of the following, you don’t have to do the written exam: An international exam with the following minimum points: GMAT (500), GMAT FE (485), NMAT (150), or GRE (300) A diploma from an AACSB/EQUIS accredited or CEMS member university with a grade of 4 (B) or higher. A 4 (B) grade equals 50 points, a 5 (A) grade equals 60 points. Minimum credit requirements In Hungary, there are legal pre-requisite credit requirements to study postgraduate programmes. Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for this programme before applying. You will need a minimum of 20 ECTS constituted from the following areas: - Methodology (mathematics, statistics, IT); - Economics (e.g. microeconomics and macroeconomics, international economy, business); - Social Sciences (political science, sociology, international relations); - Program-related fields (public service, government levels’ management and control, public policy, public socio-political skills). Tip: to quickly calculate your credits in ECTS, divide learning hours by 30! ‎If your qualifications are not in English or Hungarian, official translations into English or Hungarian will be required for all diplomas and transcripts. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Programme Description

Public Policy and Management at Corvinus is an internationally recognised, interest-based tailored programme for future leading politicians, public policy analysts and civil society leaders. You will hone essential analytical and leadership skills applicable to the public sector, consulting firms, ministries, policy institutes and NGOs (non-governmental organisations).
