Recognition (undergraduate degree) requirements
Your qualification must be legally recognised to be equivalent to a Hungarian undergraduate degree (Act C, Recognition, 2001) and meet the pre-requisite credit requirements (see below).

GMAT, GRE, NMAT
For admission onto MA/MSc programmes, you must provide a GMAT, GRE or NMAT certificate. Note: you are only required to sit one of these exams unless you meet the exemption requirements stated below.

Exemption requirements
Applicants with a diploma attesting to a higher education qualification and professional qualification obtained at an AACSB/EQUIS accredited university or a CEMS member university, provided that this diploma is graded at least good/B (ECTS), are exempted from the GMAT, GRE, NMAT tests and only have to attend the oral admission interview (see below).”

Our admissions office will evaluate your application, supporting documents and authenticate your GMAT, GRE or NMAT certificate.

Your score in the GMAT, GRE or NMAT will be converted into a score out of 70.

1. All applicants scoring <43 will be ineligible for admission.
2. Applicants scoring ≥43 will be invited for an interview.

The interview will be scored out of 30 and applicants will receive an overall score out of 100.

A points threshold will be set by our MA/MSc Dean. Those scoring greater than or equal to the points threshold will be conditionally accepted. Those scoring below the points threshold will be rejected.

Minimum credit requirements
In Hungary, there are legal pre-requisite credit requirements to study postgraduate programmes.

You will need a minimum of 48 ECTS constituted from the following areas:

- Quantitative methods: (including mathematics, statistics, and informatics)
- Economics: (including microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, economic theory, sectoral and functional economics, world and European economy, public policy)
- Business: (including business economics, accounting, [corporate] finance, taxation, marketing, decision theory or methods, business ethics, business communication)
- Social sciences: (including economic history, sociology, psychology, philosophy, general and business law, EU policies)
- Management/professional skills: (including management and organisation, strategic or business planning, operations or supply chain management, organisational behaviour and human resources, controlling, business information systems, leadership skills development)

Tip: to quickly calculate your credits in ECTS, divide learning hours by 30!

‎If your qualifications are not in English or Hungarian, official translations into English or Hungarian will be required for all diplomas and transcripts.

You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
