Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Please read this whole section carefully before applying Recognition (undergraduate degree) requirements Entrance exam The written exam is 90 points. You can get an additional 10 points if you submit a GMAT/GRE/NMAT or GMAT FE exam by 31 January 2025. The written exam measures the following: quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, logical thinking and data interpretation, and language skills. A sample exam will soon be available. You can also get in without a written exam. An international exam with the following minimum points: GMAT (500), GMAT FE (485), NMAT (150), or GRE (300) A diploma from an AACSB/EQUIS accredited or CEMS member university with a grade of 4 (B) or higher. A 4 (B) grade equals 50 points, a 5 (A) grade equals 60 points. Minimum credit requirements Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for this programme before applying. You will need a minimum of 40 ECTS constituted from the following areas: Tip: to quickly calculate your credits in ECTS, divide learning hours by 30! If your qualifications are not in English or Hungarian, official translations into English or Hungarian will be required for all diplomas and transcripts. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
Business Informatics combines traditional business with computer science. Solve modern business problems with the fastest, most efficient, technical business solutions. Develop IT, project management and business software application skills and essential soft skills.
Programme Description
The objective of the program is to provide such complementary skills – combining IT and management knowledge – that enable students to manage efficiently information resources in organizations. Based on solid theoretical knowledge both in IT and business the program covers all the areas where an IT manager can come across with information systems by integrating management with IT related competencies: managing information as strategic resource, using the innovation potential of IT (digitalization), system design and development, IT project management, business intelligence, process management, IT security, and IT service management. The emphasis is on system analysis, digital transformation, and data analytics.
The teaching style is problem-solving oriented, case-study based, interactive to prepare students for the future managerial challenges or expert tasks. State-of-the-art technologies, collaborative solutions will be intensively used, facilitating the involvement of collaborating international partners. Real-world cases, projects and widely adopted technologies facilitate the development of skills and knowledge. The content not only offers a solid foundation for students about latest technologies underlying management information systems, but it develops skills enabling them to understand and manage the challenges posed by current and upcoming digital technologies on businesses. In turn it covers both technological advances to be applied by digital enterprises as well as organizational approaches crucial in integrating new technologies.
